We want your help! We are looking for volunteers to represent the Cole Family at our upcoming events. We have various events upcoming next year and we would like your help. Events for volunteer opportunities include Boonville’s Heritage Days, 2nd Annual ‘Rooted in the Boonslick’ Walk, 90th Annual Reunion Weekend and statue rededication, as well as other preservation volunteer opportunities for the Briscoe Cemetery, Mt. Nebo Cemetery, and the Hannah Cole Fort Site. If you are interested in helping but are unable to attend, please contact Bob Painter at bpainter@coleassociation.com.

1st Annual Rooted in the Boonslick Walk

We are excited to kick off our 1st Annual Rooted in the Boonslick Walk on Saturday, August 12 (the day before the reunion); a 1-mile walk to support the genealogy & preservation of Boonslick families. This event is for all friends, family, and members of the community. By participating, you would be directly contributing to the genealogy work and preservation of family graves and the development of the Cole Fort site.

  • Noon:  Potluck lunch
  • Bottled water and cookies will be provided
  • Feel free to bring your personal lunch, if you prefer

Saturday August 12th, 2023 If you are interested, some of us will meet at 5:30 Saturday night at the Hannah Cole Statue on Morgan Street, then go and eat at the Frederick Hotel. Please let us know if you are coming.
