2023 Scholarship Information

Since 2008 The Cole Family Association has offered an annual Scholarship to a Cole Family member. The funds are accumulated through donations. The Scholarship is a tool to reach young family members developing their interest in our ancestors. If you would like to make a donation, it can be sent to Kim Dickerson 1746 Co. Road 1218, Moberly, MO. 65270. Thank you.

In 2023 the Cole Family Association will award a $500 scholarship to a graduating senior who is related to Hannah Allison Cole, maintains a 3.2 GPA and will be enrolled full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or trade school.

Applications for the 2023 Scholarship must be postmarked by April 1, 2023 and should be mailed to:

2022 Scholarship Information

2022 Scholarship Information

In 2022, the Cole Family Association will award a scholarship to a graduating high school senior who is related to Hannah Allison Cole, maintains a 3.2 GPA and will be enrolled full-time in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or trade school.

Applications for the 2022 scholarship must be postmarked by April 20, 2022 and should be mailed to:

2009 Cole Family Association Scholarship Winner

The first scholarship winner of the Hannah Cole Family Scholarship was Shannon Dickerson of Moberly, MO. Pat Todd, president of the Cole Family Association (and grandmother of Shannon) presented the certificate to Shannon at the awards ceremony, May 15.

Shannon graduated from Moberly High School on May 17 in the top 5% of her class. She will be attending Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO on academic and soccer scholarships. She will be working toward a degree in Accounting.

Shannon’s parents are Kim and Bud Dickerson, her brother Sam is a sophomore at Moberly High; her grandparents are Bob and Pat Todd of Piedmont and Marilyn Morlan, of St. Joseph.

Shannon and Sam have worked at the registration table at the Cole Association reunion for several years, so if you have been at the reunion you will know who she is. Shannon is the great, great, great, great, great granddaughter of Hannah Cole, coming from Samuel and his 2nd wife Catherine’s youngest daughter Gilla.

Congratulations to Shannon for all of her achievements through her high school years and our best wishes for a very successful college career!
